Reginald Brannan was a 23-year-old police officer from Savannah. Reginald was on his way home from the police department on Monday morning, August 28, 2022. On his way home, he had an accident with a vehicle in Garden City in which he died.

Reginald had left the department for his home for some work on Monday morning and died after being hit by a large vehicle in Garden City before reaching home. Reginald’s family could never have imagined that he would die like this on his way back home.
Reginald joined the police department in December 2020. Chief Lenny Gunther expressed grief that Reginald had just begun to progress in his life. Officers working in the department with Reginald paid tribute to Reginald on social media. Police are investigating Reginald’s accident.
