Duggie Brown was born in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England on 7 August 1940. His real name is Barry Dudley. He died on 16 August 2022 at the age of 82. His manager has confirmed the news of his death and tweeted- “It is with great sadness to say that comedian and actor Duggie has passed away this morning. Working with him is a big deal for me. Birth to Since he was an entertainer, Duggie did his work with great pleasure.”
He is best remembered for his work on “Martin Clunes” in 2002. In 2006, Duggie played Mr. Cord in “Hotel Babylon”. Duggie worked in many films and television in- Kes (1969), Jack Rosenthal’s Another Sunday and Sweet F.A. (1972), Play For Today, For the Love of Ada, Take My Wife (1979), Between Two Women, Crown Court, The Bill, Minder, The Cuckoo Waltz, All Creatures Great and Small, Last of the Summer Wine and Peak Practice.
