What happened with Ebony Simpson?

On August 19, 1992, Ebony Simpson, who was 9 years old, was kidnapped by Andrew Peter Garforth, 29 years old (when the incident happened). After that, after forcing, she was murdered. Andrew Peter Garforth was found guilty and given a life sentence.

How did Ebony Simpson get kidnapped? 

Ebony Simpson’s mother always went to the bus stop to pick her up, but on August 19, 1992, being busy with some work, she did not go herself and sent Ebony Simpson’s brother to pick him up at the bus stop. That day, the bus arrived late because Ebony did not see her brother there. Ebony sets off to go home alone, with the house a short distance from the bus stop.

The police suspected a man who was seen with his car near the bus stop. The police engaged more than 100 people to find Ebony. On 21 August 1992, Ebony’s body was found in the Wildlife Sanctuary Dam near her house.

Andrew Peter Garforth was arrested and on interrogation, it was found that Andrew had taken her to the dam and closed her hands and feet. After forcing Ebony was thrown into the dam. Andrew, after confessing his crime, sentenced him to life in prison and announced that he would never be released.
