Kal David’s real name was David Ruskin. He was an American popular guitarist, singer, and songwriter. David made his singing debut in 1962. In 1965, David produced “The Rowin’ Kind” with guitarist Paul Cotton. On July 14, 1998, the Blue Guitar Blues Club opened atop the Plaza Theater in Palm Springs, which closed after 6 years in 2004.

David was born in Chicago, Illinois, the U.S on 15 June 1943. On 16 August 2022, he passed away at the age of 76 in Palm Springs.
