Mom of 2 Found Dead in Forest After Chilling Texts from Boyfriend — You Won’t Believe What He Admitted

A Maryland community is reeling after the shocking discovery of 23-year-old Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra’s body, days after she was reported missing. Guerra, a devoted mother of two young children, was found dead in a wooded area near Cedarville State Forest—and the person now charged with her murder is someone she trusted deeply: her boyfriend, 24-year-old Keycy Robinson Alexi Barrera-Rosa.

From Missing Person to Murder Victim

When Guerra was first reported missing on April 3, concern spread quickly. Family members, friends, and neighbors rallied together, hoping for a safe return. Her boyfriend, Barrera-Rosa, appeared to be a grieving, desperate partner. He contacted police, claimed she had vanished, and even played a part in early search efforts.

But behind that facade, detectives say, was a far darker truth.

Authorities soon picked up on troubling inconsistencies in Barrera-Rosa’s story. Surveillance footage, digital data, and witness interviews painted a chilling picture. Their focus turned sharply to him after they found evidence of suspicious movements—particularly a vehicle trip that led directly to the remote woods where Guerra’s body would later be discovered.

A Chilling Confession

The case took a grim turn when Barrera-Rosa’s uncle, Rolvin Eduardo Bererra-Bererra, confessed to helping bury Guerra’s body. According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Barrera-Rosa admitted during questioning that he had killed Guerra during an argument. After the fatal assault, he reached out to his uncle for help. The two then transported her lifeless body to a wooded location, covering her remains with leaves and brush in a desperate attempt to hide the crime.

Police later recovered her body exactly where the uncle had described.

The Charges and What Comes Next

Barrera-Rosa now faces a series of serious charges:

  • First- and second-degree murder

  • First- and second-degree assault

  • Reckless endangerment

  • Perjury

  • Making a false statement to a police officer

His uncle is being charged as an accessory after the fact.

Guerra’s death has left a painful void. Her two children, now left without their mother, are the true victims of this senseless tragedy. Loved ones say she was a kind, dedicated mother with dreams for her future and her children’s. Her family is left grappling with grief—and betrayal.

A Community Shattered

“She didn’t deserve this,” one of Guerra’s family members said through tears. “She loved her kids. She trusted the wrong person, and now we’re left with unimaginable pain.”

The Charles County community is now mourning not just the loss of a young woman—but the cruel way her life was taken and the deception that followed.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with more information to come forward. In the meantime, Guerra’s loved ones are preparing to lay her to rest, struggling to understand how someone who claimed to love her could be responsible for such a heartless act.
