The Kuwait Cabinet convened on Monday and granted its approval to a draft decree aimed at establishing a College for Fire Services. The draft decree has been forwarded for the consideration of His Highness Deputy Amir and Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. This significant decision was made during the Cabinet’s regular weekly meeting, presided over by Acting Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Following the meeting, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Eissa Al-Kandari, affirmed that the Cabinet had been apprised of the Civil Service Bureau’s decision concerning the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). As a result, September 28 has been designated as a holiday in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
It was further explained that public institutions and ministries would suspend their operations on this day, while other organizations would continue their work in accordance with their respective specialized activities. Additionally, the Cabinet received a briefing regarding the recommendation from the Coordinating Committee for Enhancing Non-Oil Revenues concerning the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port project. It was agreed that the necessary procedures would be initiated to ensure the project’s successful completion.
