On July 4, 2022, Shira Rose posted that Jessica was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November. Shira used to give updates about her mother’s health through her Facebook posts every day.
Jessica lived with her daughters Shira Rose, Brittany, Jonathan, and Josh, and Jessica’s brothers David, Asher, Lily, Shayna, Zisi, Mendel, and Elliot.
